Arvid Pettersen is a Norwegian pianist, singer, songwriter and author. He has released twelve albums and has written around 300 songs, approximately 100 of which have been recorded and released. Over more than three decades, he has given over 4,000 concerts and services in 20 countries. His music has received more than five million streams on Spotify.

His work has taken him to a wide range of settings, from prisons and soup kitchens to concert halls and parliaments. He has performed on several occasions in connection with the European Prayer Breakfast in Brussels, including events in the European Parliament and the European Commission. On several occasions in different countries, he has also performed in settings attended by royalty and top-level politicians.

Over the years, Arvid has had the pleasure of collaborating with highly skilled musicians, both nationally and internationally, on his albums and in concert.

Pettersen's Christian faith has been a central part of his music and songwriting throughout his career. His songs often deal with faith, hope, doubt, everyday life and the questions people carry with them.

Alongside his work as a musician and songwriter, he is also an author and has contributed articles and reflections to Norwegian publications.
